“I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become”
– Carl Jung

It can be difficult to recognize our power of choice when life experiences leave us feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves. Sometimes we move through life constantly “going” without ever feeling connected or because we are unsure and unsettled in being with the now. I believe therapy can be a space to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the ability to choose the life you truly want to create.
My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you in the journey of exploration, healing, self-understanding, and transformation. I understand that the experiences of life can make this seem daunting at first, this is okay. My approach stems from openness, deep communication, empowerment, and compassion. Together, we can begin to uncover patterns, process difficult experiences, strengthen self-awareness, and reconnect with the authentic self beneath the noise of expectations, doubts, fear, or past wounds.
Creativity has always been a deeply meaningful part of my own life. My roots began in artistic expression through painting, drawing, poetry, pottery, baking, and other creative outlets. Because of this, I value the healing power of creativity, reflection, energy, and self-expression within the therapeutic process; it’s what led me to obtain a formal background in Art Therapy. However, creativity is just one example of choice and not the only means to conduct therapy. I recognize that every individual’s needs and path are unique. I approach therapy to support each client in a way that feels genuine and aligned for them, to discover their voice with autonomy.
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey and earned my Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Nazareth College. I have experience working in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, schools, and community programs with individuals of all ages. I have supported clients navigating a wide spectrum of challenges and needs. I also enjoy working with individuals seeking deeper self-discovery, personal growth, inner connection, and a stronger relationship with themselves.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me adventuring in the outdoors (hiking, snowboarding, paddle boarding/kayaking), scoping out local coffee shops, reading, or experimenting with new baking recipes.
