UPCOMING WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
It’s not easy being a tween or teen today. Social media, constant comparison, and the pressure to fit in can make everyday interactions feel overwhelming. For some kids, making friends, joining a group, or simply expressing themselves can feel like an uphill climb.
That’s where Quest to Connect comes in.
This four-week workshop is designed to help kids ages 11–15 strengthen their social skills in a fun, supportive, and engaging way. Through guided play and creative activities, participants practice communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation — while making real connections with peers who “get it.”
Parenting a child with big emotions can feel overwhelming. If your child seems intensely sensitive, easily frustrated, or “too much” for their age, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong—it’s because they’re a supersenser. These children feel deeply, think intensely, and often get overwhelmed before they even know how to express themselves.
That’s where Becoming a Super Parent comes in. This one-time workshop introduces parents and caregivers to strategies for supporting their supersenser child in ways that foster connection, confidence, and calmer moments at home.
For many neurodivergent adults, life can feel like it swings between overwhelm and shutdown – moving too fast to catch, or suddenly slowing to a stop. If you’ve been told you’re “too sensitive,” “too much,” or find yourself getting flooded by emotions, stuck in overthinking, or shutting down when things pile up, it’s not because you’re doing life wrong. It’s because your nervous system processes the world differently.
That’s where this group comes in. This weekly, in-person DBT skills group is designed for neurodivergent adults who want practical, structured tools for managing overwhelming emotions, navigating sensory overload, improving communication, and building routines that actually work for their brain.
