Services for our Veterans

If you are a Vet suffering with:

  • insomnia

  • maintaining relationships

  • self-destructive behaviors

  • flashbacks or upsetting dreams

  • emotional numbness, feeling flat

  • irritability or outbursts of anger

  • suicidal thoughts

  • difficulty concentrating and memory problems

It is highly likely that your symptoms are related to your time in active duty and DBT can help.

DBT is a modality of therapy that specializes in targeting suicidal thoughts and emotional regulation. Our clinicians are proficient at working with clientele who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which is a large portion of the Veteran community.

Services for Veterans
DBT of South Jersey is proud to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs in order to serve our nation's Veterans!

We offer comprehensive DBT to our Vets through support from the local VA. Prospective clients must obtain a referral for DBT Therapy directly from the Department of Veterans Affairs via the Community Care Center. Once this is done, the Department of Veterans Affairs will contact the Intake Coordinator of DBT of South Jersey to start the referral process. Our Intake Coordinator will then contact the client directly to get their care setup.

Our practice is contracted with the VA to offer DBT Therapy at no cost to our Vets to support them in recovering and build a life worth living. If you are a Veteran looking for mental health support in New Jersey we can help.

We are grateful for your service!
