She/Her/Hers

An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you.” -Goi Nasu

We all know that sometimes life can be hectic, surrounding us with added levels of stress and negativity to deal with. This can be even harder when our emotions are seemingly out of control. The goal of my work is to help you figure out how to manage these overwhelming emotions in order to better cope with the challenging tides surrounding you, both internally and externally.

I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey in 2024, while interning at DBT of South Jersey throughout my final year of education. During my work as an clinical intern, I built the foundation of my theoretical orientation as a therapist while working with individuals and groups, and am dedicated to continuing to improve my expertise in DBT in addition to my work with couples. In 2023, I received my DBT foundational training provided by Shaelene Kite and Kathryn Butts. In 2024, I received Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy through online training provided by Drs. John Gottman and Julie Schwartz Gottman, the founders of the Gottman Method.

Prior to my clinical internship here at DBT of South Jersey, I worked on inpatient psychiatric units, which initially guided my passion for helping people find their life worth living. Going through life at a heightened level of stress is exhausting and quite frankly, draining. Not only does this stress impact our own well being, but it can also drastically affect our relationships with those we love around us. I strive to help people find a cooler sense of calm that translates into all areas of their lives. I hope to be able to partner with you in navigating life’s obstacles and achieving a better state of mind, where life can best be enjoyed to the fullest.

Therapy takes effort from both sides and all parties involved, and I hope that we can work together on this journey! Deciding to pursue treatment can be scary, which is why I practice with an approachable and nonjudgmental demeanor to ease your concerns about the process, and you can lean on me when you are in need of accountability.

When I’m not working with clients, I’m usually with my cat, Koko, and my dog, Trixie. I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and going for walks.
