““We don’t heal in isolation, but in community.”

Ashley Fritz

When life becomes difficult, you may feel that you must suffer alone. You may think that you don’t want to bother people with what you are going through. It can feel easy to hide out and hope that you will start to feel better. However, when you decide to disconnect, you will become more isolated, and your suffering may increase.  It can also feel scary to ask for help  I believe that the best medicine for suffering is connection, compassion, and validation. You were not meant to suffer alone, and the sooner you decide to break your isolation, the sooner you can begin your beautiful healing journey. You were meant to be a happy, healthy, and thriving being.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 13 years. I have had the honor to work with various populations and age groups to witness their healing journey. Most of my experience is working with children and adolescents in crisis intervention and case management addressing issues of anxiety, substance use, depression, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. I also have experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. It is my nature as well as my passion to help others heal and realize their own resiliency, power, and abilities within. I have a holistic approach to treatment and address physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual factors contributing to wellness.

I graduated from Stockton University with a BA in Psychology in 2014 with a Minor in Holistic Health. I am currently working towards my MS at Thomas Jefferson University for Community and Trauma Clinical Counseling with a concentration in addictions and will graduate May 2024.

I am Holistic Health Practitioner, Reiki Master, and Shamanic Practitioner.  I have always had a passion for spirituality and energy work. I believe that psychological therapy and energy and spiritual therapy are complementary with one another.

When I am not working with clients I enjoy running, working out, dancing, practicing yoga, practicing my spiritual and energy work, spending time with my husband, my family and friends, and my pets.  I am happiest when I am at the beach or in nature.
