This workshop is for you if:
- You feel burnt out from running the same dbt skills groups with repetitive content.
- Your clients frequently drop out or show minimal participation during skills groups.
- You seek fresh ideas and activities to enhance group cohesion and client connections.
- You want to reduce the stress of facilitating groups while increasing engagement.
- You aim to establish stronger rapport between group leaders and members, as well as among members.
Upon completion of this workshop, clinicians will be able to:
- Identify contributing factors for burnout/frustration points for facilitating groups.
- Apply specific interventions to improve group participation in the short term.
- Utilize group activities that will improve group cohesion in the long term.
